You’re making a good choice

Joining your retirement plans at Vanguard is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Complete the Vendor Election form. This form designates how your employer contributions are to be invested for the Princeton University Retirement Plan. Return your completed and signed form to your benefits office.

  2. Complete the Salary Reduction Agreement.pdf This form designates the amount you want deducted from your paycheck and your chosen investment manager for the Princeton University Supplemental Retirement Plan. Return your completed and signed form to your benefits office.

  3. Choose Vanguard now. Use the link at the right to get started. You’ll be prompted to designate a beneficiary when you choose Vanguard.

  4. Schedule a one-on-one consultation. You can meet one on one with a Vanguard retirement planning counselor to discuss the financial issues that matter to you and to make sure your investment strategy is on track. View available dates and times at www.meetvanguard.com.

Once you’ve chosen Vanguard you should consider signing up for online account access.

Why? Registering gives you access to your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can check your balances, find up-to-date fund information, and access easy-to-understand investment guidance. You can change your investment selections too whenever you want. Once you’ve joined the plan, and received a confirmation in the mail from Vanguard, sign up for online access.   • Zip code.
  • Birth date.
  • Plan numbers (095853 for the Princeton University Retirement Plan and 091572 for the Princeton University Supplemental Retirement Plan).
